More than 300 registrants have booked for the ARCA National Conference 2016 (Adelaide, 9-11 November 2016) and there are only 30 tickets left!
As always, this year’s conference will provide fantastic networking opportunities and lots of fun. We’ll test our collective agility and resilience as we explore this year’s theme, ‘Optimising outcomes in an uncertain world’.
The agenda is continuing to develop, with 25 confirmed speakers across both strategic and technical streams, including keynote addresses by:
- David Murray AO, Former CEO, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Inaugural Chair of the Australian Government Future Fund and Chair of the 2014 Financial System Inquiry
- Rachel Botsman, Global authority on collaborative consumption, and consistently rated one of the world’s top 20 speakers
- John Price, Commissioner at ASIC

Travel arrangements
With delegates starting to organise flights to and from Adelaide, here is more information on the arrangements for Wednesday afternoon 9th November at the start of the conference, and Friday
afternoon 11 November at the end.
Wednesday afternoon conference cocktail party
Delegates are encouraged to arrive at the Adelaide Hilton in time for the special cocktail party on the afternoon of Wednesday 9 November. We’re not announcing all the details just yet (we
have to keep some surprises, in line with this year’s theme!) but we can tell you that buses will leave from the Hilton regularly from 5.30pm onwards and the cocktail party will commence at 6.30pm in the Adelaide Hills, which is about a half hour bus ride away.
Friday afternoon optional workshops and networking
The formal conference program finishes after lunch on the afternoon on Friday 11 November, with buses running from the conference hotel to Adelaide airport from 1.30 pm onwards. However for those who can stay in Adelaide a little later, we have organised some unique conference workshops on the Friday afternoon. Additionally the Experian Pavilion will be open until 4:00pm, offering you and your industry colleagues the opportunity to continue networking before heading home or enjoying an extended stay in Adelaide.
The post-conference optional workshops will run from 1.45 – 3.45 pm, and are free for delegates but do require registration.
- WORKSHOP ONE
A 'flight simulator' for credit professionals – facilitated by Michelle Katics, Co-founder and CEO of BankersLab. Eight teams of four will battle it out in a live credit competition, playing the simulation for some great prizes and plenty of glory! Limited to only 32 places. You can book a team to represent your organisation.
- WORKSHOP TWO
Use of data for collections interactive workshop – facilitated by Michael Landgraf, Senior Consultant, Dun & Bradstreet. Learn how to optimise the use of credit bureau data in the customer management and collections process to manage ‘at risk’ dollars and reprioritise and enhance the payment collection process. The workshops will run concurrently and we recommend that you register early for your preferred workshop to avoid disappointment. Register for your preferred workshop here.
