CCR OVERVIEW WORKSHOPS FILLING UP FAST

ARCA’s public Comprehensive Credit Reporting (CCR) Overview workshops commence soon – with the Melbourne workshop scheduled for 29 February and the Sydney one for 21 March 2016.

These workshops are a response to Member requests for a detailed knowledge and understanding of the workings of the credit reporting system.

The CCR Overview Workshops come at an opportune time - with the PRDE now authorised, 2016 is the year in which credit reporting will come to the fore! Courses on the CR Code Guidelines will follow in a few months’ time.

We are grateful to Experian for sponsoring the first CCR Overview workshop in Melbourne – their support will help keep the costs down.

Who are the CCR Overview workshops designed for?

These workshops are designed for those working in credit risk, compliance and operations, or for anyone who requires a working knowledge of the credit reporting system.

They will provide a means to address your legal and education training requirements under the Privacy (Credit Reporting) Code 2014 obligations.

Content and structure of CCR Overview Workshops

The CCR Overview workshops are being professionally designed to optimise the learning experience, and class sizes will be limited to 20 people to facilitate engagement and interaction.

They will provide an in-depth understanding  of the overall credit reporting framework – including how the collection, disclosure, use and correction of credit reporting data works, as well as understanding the different types of credit reporting data – not just CCR but also negative information.

Facilitated by subject matter experts, the workshops include practical examples, case studies, and take home checklists to assist with review of your internal processes.
