APPOINTMENT OF ARCA CEO

I am pleased to announce that Kim Jenkins has been appointed as CEO of ARCA.

Kim will already be known to many, having been the MD of Experian Australia & New Zealand, as well as serving on the ARCA Board. Kim also has extensive experience in financial services and the credit reporting industry in a number of other markets including South Africa, India, Germany, Central Europe and Turkey.

Kim’s current role is Chief Strategy Officer for SAI Global, a company that operates across 29 countries, providing services to enable businesses to improve their risk management and compliance processes.

The ARCA Board were impressed by the breadth and depth of Kim’s experience in credit reporting, and believe she is ideally qualified to lead ARCA in pursuing our goals to improve the credit reporting system and practices in the retail credit industry. Kim has participated in industry associations in many markets, and brings strong strategic, commercial and relationship management skills to the CEO role.

On accepting the appointment, Kim commented “ARCA has an important role to play in supporting and advocating for progress in credit reporting in Australia and I look forward to working with all our stakeholders to achieve this.”

Kim will be joining ARCA in October and is looking forward to reconnecting with the ARCA Members and our many stakeholders. In the meantime, it’s “business as usual” at ARCA with Rebecca Murray continuing as Acting CEO.
